A Higher Education Response to the Early Childhood Master Plan
This discussion will look at the newly released Master Plan for Early Learning and Care from the perspective of higher education.Posted by Ventura College CD/EDU DepartmentThis discussion will look at the strengths of our Early Childhood Higher Education systems(Community Colleges, CSU’s, UC’s and Private Colleges) and how we are currently meeting the Master Plan goals, discussion of barriers within our systems, brainstorm how we can overcome those barriers to support the ongoing growth of our field, addressing the needs of our diverse populations of students and workforce, and discuss potential implementation strategies from an early childhood higher education perspective.
