    Long Beach City College is offering a faculty workshop on educational technology from Dr. Steve McGriff, a consultant who is a “regular” with CUE and facilitates their higher education learning network.  Dr. McGriff will lead a two hour workshop on May 3 from 8-10am at LBCC’s Liberal Arts Campus for faculty that work with our teacher preparation programs.  The focus will cover aspects about teaching online and hybrid courses as well as face-to-face courses that are web-enhanced (use an LMS) that cultivate community in those formats, promote engagement, facilitate deeper learning , etc.

    We would like to invite you to join us for this event.  There is limited seating as the room is a computer lab, so we will confirm when you email if space remains available.  Please reply to this email if interested by 4/26 and I will get back to you to confirm the RSVP as space permits.
